after school program
The Arc GP/HW offers a personalized after school enrichment program designed for children and teens with special needs. The program runs from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. We will offer child care and daily programming designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. We engage in activities such as arts and crafts, exercise, cooking/baking, social skills, sports/recreational activities, board games, gardening etc. Within these activities we place an emphasis on social skills and communication. We also take regular trips out into the community to parks, local sporting events etc. when the weather permits.
This program is offered at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church. If your child is receiving transportation services, they can be dropped off at:

You can enroll for 1-5 days per week. The cost is as follows
4-5 days per week attendance: $20 per afternoon
1-3 days per week: $25 per afternoon
Half days: $35 per day
Full days: $50 per day
summer program
The Arc GP/HW also provides a summer program for children with developmental disabilities, including autism, ages 3-21.
Summer 2026 session dates are as follows
Session 1 will run from June 15 – July 10 (Closed: July 2 & July 3)
Limited programming will be available from July 13 - July 17
Session 2 will run from July 20– August 14
Program runs Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Our professional staff will provide a caring environment where your child can learn social and communication skills, participate in music, arts & crafts, games and fun! Weekly field trips, swim trips, and entertainment will add new and exciting opportunities for fun and learning.
Flexible schedules are possible. We can accommodate, vacations, ESY, and before and after-care. Cost is $225 per week, for full weeks, or $50 per day for partial weeks and $75 per day for drop ins. (Drop ins are those without a consistent week to week schedule). Aftercare is available from 3-4 pm for $10 per day.
